What Lessons are right for you?
We offer different classes for different dogs.
Private Lessons
Private Lessons are customized training plans that are adjustable to your individual training goals. This plan is great for people who have a dog who may need in-home training, struggles focusing around many other dogs or people, or if you would like to meet up and practice your skills at a variety of locations. Private lessons are avaliable online or in-person. When you sign up for a private lesson package you get exclusive video demonstrations and avaliability for answering questions throughout the week. A demo dog and helper person is avaliable during our lessons as well.
Group Classes
Group classes are classes that follow a schedule and meet at the same location every week, often at a park in American Fork, Utah, or Lehi, Utah. When we hold group classes, we primarily focus on practicing skills around other dogs and people. Group classes are best for dogs who don’t struggle with reactivity much and can be willing to please even in higher distraction environments. We hold classes typically by age/ experience level, and our most common classes are our AKC S.T.A.R Puppy group class for dogs under the age of 1.
AKC Testing
AKC Testing is avaliable to anyone despite if they have a purebred or not. AKC allows any dog to get titles. Whether your dog is pedigreed, registered through Purebred Alternative Listing (P.A.L) or through AKC Canine Partners for mixed breeds. Don’t have registration yet? No worries! AKCs testing forms has it as an option to get a registration number when you submit your title application.
We do AKC Testing for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU), Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA), Virtual Home Manners Puppy (VHMP), Virtual Home Manners Adult (VHMA), Trick Dog Titles: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Peformer, Elite Preformer, and AKC S.T.A.R Puppy.
All titles besides S.T.A.R Puppy can be tested and awarded without any prior classes. AKC does require S.T.A.R Puppy to be after a 6-week class.
CGC, CGCU, and CGCA, and S.T.A.R Puppy have to be tested in-person, the other titles can be virtual or in-person.
AKC Judging
I am an AKC ATT and FETCH Judge avalaible for local Utah sport clubs to contact. I also can help individuals plan and train for club events as well.
